Adventure Courses for Schools

Based in the heart of the Pembrokeshire countryside Sealyham Activity Centre has a fantastic, diverse array of water and land based activities which provide adventure courses for schools.
Our adventure courses for schools are a fantastic way of providing essential life skills such as team work, helping people, bonding and confidence. We do not ask the school groups to succeed in each task, but to have fun and do what they can. For most children this will be their first stay away from home and that can be very daunting, we will ensure they enjoy every day and every activity and go home a more confident person.
The accommodation for our adventure courses for schools is Sealyham mansion, a Georgian mansion that can sleep over 100 pupils and their teachers. There are dormitories which sleep an average of 10 people per room. There are recreation rooms, showers and an on site tuck shop.
Meals are included for all of our adventure courses with breakfast comprising of cereals, toasts and hot cooked foods. Lunch is given to each child before they leave for the days adventures and consists of sandwiches, fruit, crisps and a choice of drinks, the child just needs to bring their own lunch box and drinking bottle. Evening meal consists of 3 different choices of hot meals, one of which will be a vegetarian option.
After the days events which will include canoeing, coasteering, archery, climbing, surfing and many more fun activities we offer evening activities to further add to the fun. Nightline is a set course of tunnels and obstacles performed whilst blindfolded, then perhaps making your own bivouac and making a BBQ before cooking some sausages and spending the night camping under the stars.
We have hosted numerous, successful school adventure courses a lot of which are repeat visits, this is a tradition we aim to continue. If you are a teacher interested in bringing pupils for a fun, productive holiday then please feel free to contact us for further details.
