Staff Training

We have had a quiet couple of weeks here at Sealyham, so the instructors have been out on various Training days. They have all recently passed Level 2 Food Safety and updated their Level 1 Child Safeguarding. The instructors have also had training days out on the local rivers, the Cleddua and the Teifi. Also did a couple days sailing training, where everyone improved their sailing ability, learnt new sailing games and raced each other. They also did some mountain bike training up at Rosebush, a coasteer at St Nons in some rough water.

Biomass Boiler

The guys are working very hard in this windy, muddy winter to get the site ready for our new exciting Biomass Boiler.  The trenches are being dug for all the piping, the shed has come along very quickly and we hope to have the roof on by the end of the week, despite all the wind and rain.

We have been taking after Ezra boys and girls camp for the last 2 weeks, taking them out coasteering, kayaking, surfing, climbing etc.  They have had a great time but will now be heading home for some well deserved rest after a very very action packed couple of weeks.  Thank you very much to Celtic Camping for accommodating the boys and providing tea and coffee for us instructors when it was much needed…
